 Roy Prevost is pleased to present his day long funshop “Social Media as a Marketing Tool” at the Olds College in Olds Alberta on Saturday, June 27th 2009

 

The day begins at 9:00AM with a computer lab for the first 40 people who sign up. During this lab, you will be at a computer where we will walk you through the setting up of your accounts in Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. We will show you all the bells and whistles and the proper way to set up your business accounts. We will also help you get comfortable with the medium and answer questions.  

For those who currently have Facebook, Twitter and linkedIn Accounts, this session will show you the unique possibilities and strategies that you can use in your business.

 

This session will last approximately 2 hours. 

Please note: For those who do not feel the need to attend the earlier session, you can opt to join us for the lecture series in the adjoining lecture hall

 

At 11:00 AM, we will meet in the adjoining lecture hall, for the remainder of the day. At this time, I, along with my associate will present a 6 hour funshop where we will delve further into the strategies and tactics of Social media that you can use in your business beginning immediately 

During our 6 hour funshop, you’ll discover tips, techniques and tactics that you can use the very next day to launch your own social media campaign.

 

You’ll learn how to:

  • Improve customer and prospect relationships  
  • Increase brand awareness
  • Generate traffic to your offline business
  • Drive traffic to your website
  • Things you must do before you set up your social media campaign
  • How to integrate social media into your current marketing plans
  • Understand the critical steps to social media success
  • Easy ways to get started in social media marketing
  • Questions you need to ask before you get started
  • Decide whether to do it yourself or hire an outside company
  • Develop realistic expectations

You will leave this event with:

·    A sense of relief that you now have the knowledge on how this media can work for you and your business

·    Confidence that you are a step ahead of your competition by having invested in yourself and your business and that you know something they don’t know

·     A firm grasp on the present and future of Social Media Marketing which will remove that niggling feeling of anxiety that you are falling behind your competition
